Statement of faith

His words.
Our foundation.

We are a non-denominational seminary. We believe the words of Jesus are to be obeyed, not merely acknowledged.

The convictions below guide our teaching and our preparation for ministry.

God and Jesus Christ
  • We believe that there is only one God.
  • We believe that Jesus existed before the creation of the physical universe.
  • We believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
  • We believe that Jesus and God are one.
  • We believe that Jesus is both Lord and Saviour.
Scripture and the promised Messiah
  • We believe that God wrote the Old Testament.
  • We believe that the Old Testament contains at least 300 prophecies concerning the anticipated Messiah.
  • We believe that Jesus and Jesus alone exactly fulfilled those Old Testament prophecies.
The authority of Jesus’ words
  • We believe that God commands man to “Listen to Jesus.”
  • We believe that Jesus’ words are eternally true.
  • We believe that the words of Jesus can never be surpassed by any words of man, nor by any words of any prophet, nor by the words of any human-created council.
  • We believe the words of Jesus.
Salvation and obedience
  • We believe that Jesus’ words on salvation contain the truth about salvation.
  • We believe that salvation requires submission and obedience to the words of Jesus.
  • We believe that no man can obtain salvation by merely having a mental acceptance of Jesus or by merely believing in Jesus. Satan believes in Jesus. Satan does not obey Jesus. Demons believe in Jesus. Demons do not obey Jesus.
  • We believe the words of Jesus are to be obeyed, not merely acknowledged.
Heaven and Hell
  • We believe in a literal Heaven and a literal Hell.
